PastorAI ("PastorAI," "we," "us," "our") is an AI-powered ministry assistant operated by Pastor AI LLC, a Missouri limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use PastorAI (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the PastorAI website (pastorai.io), the web app, and the mobile apps.
Payments are processed by third-party processors — Stripe (web) and Apple or Google (in-app purchases). We do not store your full card number. We receive limited billing confirmation data (e.g., subscription status, last four digits of your card where applicable, country) needed to manage your subscription.
PastorAI is used in a ministry context, so Your Content may reveal religious beliefs or convictions. In some jurisdictions (including the EU and UK under GDPR), this is "special category" data requiring a lawful basis such as your explicit consent. By submitting such content to generate resources, you consent to our processing it for that purpose. You may withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use and deleting Your Content or your account.
To generate resources, the Service sends relevant portions of Your Content to our AI subprocessor Anthropic (Claude), which runs the language models powering PastorAI. Important points:

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may delete Your Content or request account deletion at any time — see our data deletion page. After deletion, we remove or de-identify your information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. If you use PastorAI from outside the United States, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

PastorAI is intended for adults in ministry roles. Our minimum age to use the Service is 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
The Service may link to third-party sites or resources. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; review their policies separately.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
