Privacy Policy

PastorAI ("we," "us") is a small AI-powered ministry tool operated by James. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to keep it short and plain.

What we collect

• Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address (and any other details you choose to provide) through our authentication provider, Supabase.
• Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We do store a Stripe customer ID so we can manage your subscription.
• Public demo usage. When you try the free demo on our homepage, we store the email address you provided and a count of how many times that email has used the demo. This is solely to enforce the free usage limit.
• Inputs you submit to the AI tools. When you generate a sermon outline, study guide, or other content, the text you provide is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. We do not retain a long-term database of every prompt and output you submit.
• Standard server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) records routine technical information such as IP addresses, timestamps, and request paths.

How we use it

• To provide the service you signed up for.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To prevent abuse of the free demo.
• To respond when you contact us for support.
• To improve the product (in aggregate; we are not building a profile of you).

Who we share it with

We share information only with the third-party services we use to operate PastorAI:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Anthropic — AI content generation.
• Vercel — web hosting.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Account information is kept as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return. Demo usage records (email + count) are kept until you request deletion. Stripe retains payment records according to its own policies and applicable law.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted by emailing james@pastorai.io. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

PastorAI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

International users

Our services are hosted on infrastructure that may process data in the United States. By using PastorAI, you understand that your information may be processed in countries other than your own.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
